2013
Assoc. Prof Thomas Yeo started the Computational Brain Imaging Group at NUS, looking at the organization of the brain, and brain-behavior relationships.
2019
Ruby developed an algorithm to perform brain network mapping an an individual level.
2024
Clinical trials for fMRI-guided depression treatment were held at the Institute of Mental Health, Singapore.
2025
B1Neuro was created, with the aim of bringing cutting-edge brain imaging technology to the clinical scene.

Dr. Leon Ooi
CEO
Leon graduated with a PhD from the Integrative Sciences and Engineering Programme at NUS in 2023. His background is in neuroimaging and machine learning.
Dr. Ru(by) Kong
CSO
Ruby graduated with a PhD from NUS in 2019. Her work individualized brain networks has shaped the field of neuroimaging, and is now focusing on applying her work to psychiatric populations.
Dr. Tor Phern Chern
Clinical Advisor
Dr Tor started the first public TMS service in Singapore. He holds leadership roles in several neurostimulation societies regionally & internationally.
